Optical imaging

Non-invasive imaging technique that uses visible light to obtain detailed images of organs, tissues, and cells in laboratory animal models.

Based on the capture and analysis of light emitted or reflected by tissues, it allows biological processes to be visualized in real time without damaging the structures being studied. The system allows luminescence and fluorescence images to be obtained.

Optical imaging has a wide range of applications, enabling studies to be carried out in vivo, ex vivo, or in vitro on oncological, microbiological, and immunological animal models.
