MULTIPHOTON LASER

The equipment consists of a pulsed femtosecond laser (100 femtoseconds) TI: Sapphire from Spectra Physics (Maitai) continuously tunable (700-970 nm) coupled to a Leica SP-2 AOBS confocal microscope. For the detection of fluorescence it is possible to use the detectors of the confocal system or, alternatively, a pair of direct detectors, of greater sensitivity, that discriminate wavelength green (510-530 nm) and orange-red (> 560 nm).
