The ESR team works in CW (continuous wave) and uses an X band (u ~ 9.5 GHz). It is the only method to directly detect paramagnetic species. Due to its non-destructive character and its high versatility it is the ideal complement of other analysis methods, allowing to obtain valuable structural and dynamic information of substances such as free radicals in solid, liquid and gaseous state, ions of transition metals and rare earths, defects in ionic crystals, electrons of conduction in semiconductors, birradicals, systems in triplet state, etc.
The equipment is equipped with the following accessories:

Prohibited Transition Cavity ER4116DM
Goniometer ER218PG1
Temperature control of samples up to 3.8 K
Liquid cell ER169FC-Q
