Binocular loupe ZEISS Stemi 305 with polarization filter set

To observe all kinds of items and samples at a micrometric level, in the Archeometry CAI we have a ZEISS Stemi 305 binocular loupe with a capacity of up to 80 magnifications. In addition, and as an additional service we also have an AXIOCAM ERc 5 s ZEISS camera attached to the magnifying glass and often live of what is seen through the viewfinder, with which sub-millimeter scale images of any physical surface can be obtained.

Among others, this magnifying glass can be used to obtain detailed images of the surface of bones, ceramics, minerals, coins and paleobotanical samples, in order to complete what has already been observed at the macro level and give more conclusive scientific results.
