Improving the access to LICA through its docking platform

In order to be able to introduce bulky equipment in the Advanced Scientific Instrumentation Laboratory (LICA), through the Gerencia of the Faculty of Physical Sciences, the UCM Works and Maintenance Department modified the dock at the North end of the West Wing of the Faculty of Physical Sciences. In this way, the previously fixed railing can be opened completely, allowing access by truck crane to the complete platform of the pier, which frees a large envelope to introduce equipment (or send equipment already integrated to observatories) of up to ~2x2x2 m^3.
