Imaging technique for obtaining structural and functional information in vivo in a minimally invasive way, thus ensuring ethics in preclinical research.

SAMPLES ANALYSED
Thanks to its high sensitivity, PET imaging has become one of the main tools for the in vivo functional study of animal models in projects as varied as oncology, neurosciences, cardiology, etc.
Computerised Axial Tomography (CT) complements PET by giving it structural support and also allowing the evaluation of densities in both living organisms and other types of samples.

CONDITIONS OF CONSERVATION OF SAMPLES AVAILABLE AT BIOIMAC
Ambient temperature. Desiccator. Refrigerator 0ºC to 8ºC. Freezer - 20ºC. Ultra freezer -80ºC.

REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDIES WITH RESEARCH ANIMALS
Users must comply with the requirements for access to BIOIMAC with research animals as indicated in the document on this page.
