Multicolor and multidimensional (X, Y, Z, T, L) microscopy
Acquisition of two-dimensional (2D) digital images with out-of-focus light elimination (confocality), either simple or as spatial series (multiple distanced planes), and / or time series generated from samples (biological or material) with fluorescence (staining and / or endogenous) using laser scanning as a source of illumination (excitation) and photodetectors for recording the emitted fluorescence (selection of wavelength, ). The obtained images contain multidimensional information (wavelength, temporal, spatial, quantitative and qualitative) necessary for further analysis (quantification and / or 3D reconstruction).
