This diffractometer has a Bragg-Brentano focusing optic in theta-theta configuration and X-ray diffraction measurements are made by reflection on samples in powder form. Small pieces can also be measured as long as their length does not exceed 44 mm and their thickness is not more than 9 mm.
Zero-background sample holders are available that allow small amounts of sample to be measured.
Diffractogram analysis software is also available.
