History

The Archaeometry and Archaeological Analysis Unit has gone through different stages since its creation in 2008. Its first director was Professor Alfredo Jimeno, from 2008-2012. From 2012-2018 the direction was carried out by Professor Terresa Chapa. Currently the director of the Unit is since 2019, Professor José Yravedra Sainz de los Terreros.
