Z903 Argon LIBS Portable Analyzer: LIBS (Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy)

Reference: Ref.: EQ 04345I0 LBS-01
Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LISS) is an analytical technique that allows for the rapid determination of the elemental chemical composition of a material with minimal sample preparation and, in many cases, is virtually non-destructive. It can be used for all types of archaeological and paleontological samples, providing information about their chemical elements. It is a very non-destructive technique and excellent for identifying and classifying archaeological remains, determining the provenance of objects, differentiating fossil bone from various sedimentary contexts, analyzing chemical changes due to fossilization, diagenesis, etc., determining alloys, and more. Consultation is recommended.
