Infrared Spectroscapy with Fourier Transform FT-IR

Infrared Spectroscopy is based on the absorption of IR radiation by the substance we want to measure. Electromagnetic radiation excites molecular vibrations that have the same frequency as the electromagnetic radiation of the IR. Only those molecules that at the time of vibration have bipolar moment other than zero absorb IR radiation.
