Fontenebro International School visits the Geological Techniques Unit during Science Week 2022
The students of 4th ESO of Fontenebro International School participate in the activity "How are the materials of the archaeological and architectural heritage studied?" in the Geological Techniques Unit during Science Week 2022
The students of 4th ESO of Fontenebro International School have visited the two laboratories of the Geological Techniques Unit within the framework of the XXII edition of the Week of Science and Innovation in Madrid with the activity "How do you study the archaeological and architectural heritage materials? which took place on November 15. During their visit, they learned how bone, mortar and ceramic samples are prepared and analyzed with different techniques such as emission spectrometry, optical microscopy, X-ray diffraction, total carbon analysis, X-ray fluorescence, thermal and infrared analysis.
