The UCM, distinguished as an environment favorable to research
The University is recognized with the European seal of excellence 'HRS4R' for its commitment to continuous improvement and good practices in hiring researchers
The Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) has obtained the distinction 'HR Excellence in Research' (HRS4R), awarded by the European Commission in order to help generate and support a stimulating and favorable environment for research. In this way, the Community Government recognizes the commitment and continuous improvement of this university when applying fair and transparent assessment procedures for hiring personnel, guaranteeing accessibility, equity and the pursuit of excellence.
Granting the 'HR Excellence in Research' distinction, the EU also recognizes UCM's efforts to adapt its procedures and policies to provide an environment conducive to research, adapting to the principles of the Researchers' Charter and the Code for the Recruitment of Researchers.
The HRS4R seal may be used by the Madrid university in all its calls for research staff and will also ensure that this center appears on the EURAXESS portal, in the list of recognized institutions with that seal. From the UCM have valued this recognition, which will serve as a stimulus to "renew our commitment to improving the conditions of our research staff"
